Dunbar Farms is a fourth-generation, 110-year-old family farm within the city limits of Medford, OR. We produce organic produce, stone-milled flours, grains, beans and other staples as well grass hay and award-winning red wines.
We farm with organic practices but choose not to certify organic because we cultivate direct relationships with all of our customers, who come to realize that our ethics and vision go way beyond that of a typical organic farm.
Our vegetables and grains are grown organically and all naturally without pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals. We sell whole-grain, stone-milled flours freshly milled on-farm, sourdough bread, polenta and other milled corn products, popcorn, a wide array of whole grains and beans, and seasonal herbs, fruits and vegetables.
Our oldest vines, planted in the mid-1970s, are one of the earliest grape plantings still in production in the Rogue Valley. The combination of mature vines, a south facing aspect, warm days, and cool evenings is ideal for producing elegant, sophisticated red wines, which we pour and sell at our Farm Stand/Tasting Room. Our vineyard is approximately five acres of Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec.
